Bindegewebsmassage: A reflexive therapy of the connective tissue, this structured medical massage protocol was developed by a German Physiotherapist and enjoys widespread use in Europe. The technique is particularly useful for difficult to treat conditions, including most inflammatory conditions, adhesions, breathing problems, menstrual problems, blood pressure, migraines, and more. Treatments engage the reflexes of the autonomic nervous system that are embedded in the subcutaneous connective tissue, bringing on powerful healing responses in the body.

All treatments begin at the sacrum, activating the parasympathetic portion of the autonomic nervous system. Treatments are generally given to the client in a seated position; the client wears underwear and a hospital gown.

Beginning Bindegewebsmassage – 4 (four) CE’s

In this class you will learn to administer the small basic buildup for your clients, as well as when and why you would choose to use this powerful set of connective tissue strokes. The small basic buildup is the base for all treatments in Bindegewebsmassage protocol. With this 20 minute protocol you can treat low-back and pelvic pain and many related chronic conditions.

Bring:     Massage table, sheets, and pillow. Pen and paper.

Note:     Nails must be very short. No see through underwear or thongs. Regular underwear.

Shower before the class, or that morning. Within 2 hours of class – no hot or cold packs or treatments.

Hospital gowns will be provided.
